A first taste of canteloupe

Today Ife let me give Yuma his first taste of cantaloupe and, like a true gourmand he first smelled it and started grabbing for this beautifully colored fruit. I ground it up and gave him first a taste of the juice. He did not swallow it immediately but let it sit in is mouth for a little while, smacking his lips  a little and when he finally swallowed it  he gave out a shout of joy and reached for the bowl.  We gave it to him little by little so he can learn to enjoy each flavor he discovers.  It was a wonderful experience to share with him.
