Zarela Martinez Celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Her Arrival in New York!

 Don’t miss the debut of her one-woman show, Zarela Act 7: equal parts performance art, cooking lesson, inspirational memoir, and – when you least expect it – soulful serenade. Renowned Mexican chef, author and personality Zarela Martinez will serve up cooking and entertaining tips as she recounts stirring tales of her colorful family and the people who have shared their lives and recipes with her. Interwoven will be songs that she’s been singing since she was a child and that tell their own story.  She will be accompanied on the guitar by Humberto Flores of the super-talented Villalobos Brothers group.

 Zarela will bring the culture of her beloved Mexico to life as she demos and serves three naturally light recipes from her popular website, www.zarela.com.
