Mariachi Mass in honor of Santa Cecilia, Year three

Since I discovered this festival three years ago, I’ve been trying to bring more people to listen to the spectacular mariachi mass with dozens of mariachis in each group’s signature outfit. If you were there last year you may have been disappointed by the sound.  The brilliant violinist  Alvaro Paulino  has gotten a new sponsor and the sound this year will be pristine.
I had never heard of this celebration In Mexico but then again I have not lived there in a long time so I am wondering if this is yet another tradition that Mexican Americans have revived in this country. If you know please let me know.

We usually eat in one of  the local restaurants  but ever yone has urged me that we should stay and enjoy the food at the Kermes  in the courtyard below. So if the weather is good, we can all party there.
