Decor Mexico-Style

One of my biggest regrets is that my Zarela Casa line of Mexican-inspired products for the home were placed in stores specifically traited for the Mexican-American consumer. Mexican traditions and style have entered the American mainstream and Americans are integrating everything from food to decor into their lifestyle.  Had it been available to the general public or, at least big city areas and the Southwest, we could have kept growing.

It was very exciting for me to read the article My Decorator:  Mexico in yesterday’s New York Times. Mr. Fishman has managed to capture not just the look and feel of Mexico  but has incorporated meaningful elements of popular culture into the decor of his spectacular apartment. It is evident that Mexico permeated his soul and that he really understood what we’re about.  Congratulations!
